The Image Wizards + OpenCamp Photo Contest Winners!

I’m very pleased to be able to announce the winners of the OpenCamp + Image Wizards photo contest! Our special guest judge, Frederick Van Johnson of This Week in Photography, spent hours and hours sifting through 500+ amazing submissions in order to narrow the field down to the top three winners.

Here is a little slideshow of the submissions to show you just how difficult picking a winner would be!

As a reminder, Image Wizards has graciously offered to print the top three winner’s photos using their amazing Aluminarte process. The prizes are as follows:

• 1st place: A 24″ x 36″ framed AluminArte print
• 2nd place: A 24″ x 36″ frameless float mount AluminArte print
• 3rd place: A 16″ x 24″ framed AluminArte print

The winners must have a US address to receive their printed artwork, so I’m hoping that all of the submissions indeed met those requirements. And now, without further delay, here are the winners!

Frederick said that it was extremely difficult to actually pick a winner because there were so many excellent submissions! And in addition to the prize winners he wanted to give a little praise for a couple of runners up.

What’s Next?

Since we don’t have access to people’s personal contact details we need our winners to contact us so we can arrange to get your prints to you. Please drop John P. an email to john AT OpenCa.mp with your name and contact details. We’ll facilitate the introduction to the good folks at Image Wizards to get the process started!

By the way, you guys are going to have to send us photos of your printed Aluminarte when you’ve got it hung on your wall so we can share it with all the OpenCampers!
